A dead joke? What  has been going on in Prospect Park lately?

A jogging regular, Katie Steciw, stopped in her tracks as she came across a creepy work of art (if that’s what it was). NBC news reports that she spotted what appeared to be a human skeleton fully outfitted in a Brooklyn Nets cap, t-shirt, sweatpants and goggles. To make it even more awkward, she found the skeleton standing upright behind a fence on the southeastern part of the park near Ocean Avenue.

Steciw called the cops but had a hard time explaining what she found. I mean, how do you describe a skeleton standing up wearing the borough basketball team’s gear?

NYPD is investigating if in fact they are human remains.
