I would love to know the secret juice that’s making all the big brands migrate to Williamsburg like no other Brooklyn neighborhood matters. I mean Williamsburg used to be a naked neighborhood full of warehouses and docks now it’s hipster central and seemingly becoming little Manhattan.

The latest retail brand to join Apple, J. Crew, Wholefoods and Madewell in coming to Williamsburg is none other than the polo specialist, Ralph Lauren. According to Racked, the boutique will stand at the old home of shoe shop BK Soula on North 3rd Street and Wythe Avenue. If you’re familiar with the brand, the shop is sure to be filled with flannel, polos, denim and cardigans and everything suitable to fit in with the hippy Williamsburg lifestyle.

No word on the actual opening date but I’m sure you’re willing to wait.
