The first ever 90s Fest, powered by SiriusXM 90s on 9, kicked off on Saturday, September 12th at 50 Kent in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The one-of-a-kind fest, hosted by for MTV host, actor and comedian Pauly Shore, celebrated the decade that marked the beginning of the Internet Age (AOL Messenger), the rise of the bucket hat and the height of TGIF television.
The nostalgic festival, sponsored by Nickelodeon, Steve Madden and Sunny Delight, brought back tons of childhood memories via music, fashion, food and entertainment. Musical performers by Blind Melon, Coolio, Lisa Loeb, Naughty by Nature, Salt-n-Pepa, Smash Mouth, Tonic; cover band Saved by the 90s with the Bayside Tigers; DJ Suga Ray, guests Perez Hilton and AnnaSophia Robb took the crowd down memory lane.
