J. Cole may have been performing in Los Angeles but he showed major love to Brooklyn and honored one of the greatest rappers of all time.

Over the weekend the Fayetteville rapper performed at the Shaun White’s Air + Style event in California kicking off the music festival season. While Cole performed many of his greatest hits, he transitioned the crowd pleaser “Who Dat” into one of Notorious B.I.G’s classic’s “Hypnotize.” If you have to question why him, then you don’t know the history of this rising rap star. Cole tackles the lyrics and never once missed a beat.
