Singer, dancer, producer, choreographer, director and all around talent, FKA twigs is headed to Gowanus in May for two very special shows. As part of Red Bull Music Academy Festival kicking off in the spring, the young talent on the rise is set to take Brooklyn into her world.

FKA twigs Is Set To Perform At The Brooklyn Hangar In Gowanus

Happening on May 17th and May 18th, at the Brooklyn Hanger on 140 53rd Street, FKA twigs is just one of the many highlights of the month long festival. In addition to the pop-singer’s two performances, public lectures with funk legend George Clinton and rap star A$AP Rocky and two tribute concerts devoted to the music of Arthur Russell by an all-star band are all set for May.

As part of the festival’s scheduled events, Brooklyn Flea Record Fair at the Williamsburg Waterfront is scheduled for May 16th. The day will be full of vinyls from 50 independent record labels, good food and some special guest DJs down by the water.
