Brooklyn Owl, an online giftshop that specializes in sparkly hand-made unicorn horn headbands, is opening their first brick-and-mortar shop Prospect Heights (252 Flatbush Ave) on Saturday, May 6.

The shop originally launched in 2010 by Park Slope resident Annie Bruce with animal hair clips made of felt, but after her daughter, Bee requested a unicorn-themed birthday party for her fourth birthday and she received enormous praise for her handmade unicorn horn, Bruce decided to sell them.
