TV One To Host ‘Living Single’ 25th Anniversary Mega-Marathon This Weekend
The marathon will include new interviews with cast members and talks about the show's possible reboot.

by Living Single aired its very first episode on August 22, 1993 and to celebrate the show’s iconic 25th anniversary TV One will be airing all 118 episodes this weekend.
Khadijah James (Queen Latifah), Synclaire James (Kim Coles), Régine Hunter (Kim Fields), Maxine Shaw (Erica Alexander), Kyle Barker (TC Carson) and Overton Jones (John Henton), the six friends who lived in a Brooklyn brownstone paved the way for how black actors were seen on television in the 90s. The show was the epitome of “old Brooklyn” — vibrant and diverse — and is one of the first sitcoms to explore modern urban life through the lens of six upwardly mobile African American friends on prime time television.
TV One’s mega marathon with give Generation X and Millennials the show to fall in love with all over again, and introduce Generation Zers to a series that will never be matched.
The weekend will include all new interviews with cast members Kim Fields, John Henton, Kim Coles and TC Carson on their iconic characters and life after the show. The reruns will also be enhanced by fun facts and trivia questions to test fans’ knowledge of popular series’ five-season run.
