Hot 97 & 107.5 WBLS Are Giving Away FREE Hair Cuts To Students

Emmis New York, the media company that broadcasts some of your favorite radio stations including: Hot 97, 107.5 WBLS and 1190 WLIB, will be embark on a back-to-school tour that’s offering free haircuts.
WBLS 107.5 & WLIB 1190’s Heart & Soul Foundation and WQHT HOT 97’s Hip Hop Has Heart Foundation presents Kutz for Kids, providing young students in the New York tri-state area a free hair cut or hair makeover. During August and September, Emmis NY will be preparing kids for the upcoming school year. During the events listed below, Emmis NY will be on-site providing music and entertainment, as well as giving away school supplies and gear.

While many back-to-school initiatives focus on giving only backpacks and school supplies, Kutz for Kids focuses on providing a necessity that may be considered a luxury for some families: fresh haircuts. Additionally, it also encourages consumers to patron neighborhood establishments, as we partner with local barbershops and hair salons throughout New York City.”
Children ages 13 and under, accompanied by their parent or guardian, can receive their free hair cut or hair makeover, on a first-come-first-serve basis, at the following locations:
