Created in Brooklyn, popular dance craze “Flexing” has found it’s way back to current events, and this time it’s spreading across the globe. Flexing can best be described as an expressive way of dancing — like storytelling.
The street style dance that used to have a show on BCAT called Flex N Brooklyn, dedicated to the battling, is being used as a form of protest against racial injustices. A group of friends decided to make a video titled “Dance for Justice“. In this video, they can be seen dancing in reaction to the injustices that arose in the death of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and many others. This group includes a young man that goes by the name Regg Roc, who admits to never having any formal training.

According to BBC, Roc and his friends went on to create their own moves.
