Primark has announced it will open its first Brooklyn location on Wednesday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.

The leading European fashion retailer will open a 57,900 square foot mega-store offering a variety of women’s, men’s and children’s wear items along with home goods, beauty products and gifts.

“We are excited to expand our footprint with our new store at Kings Plaza,” Jose Luis Martinez de Larramendi, President of Primark U.S., said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming the people of Brooklyn and beyond to our store. This opening will mark another important milestone in raising awareness of Primark’s unique formula of Amazing Fashion at Amazing Prices in the U.S.”

Ahead of the anticipated store opening Primark is creating unique activations featuring professional fashion stylist Jamie Frankel and photographer Taylor Ballantyne on-site to style and photograph customers.  These pop-up experiences will take place at the Brooklyn Bridge and Smorgasburg in Williamsburg on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, respectively.
