Eric Garner’s daughter, Erica Garner, 27, has been declared “brain dead with no chance of recovery,” according to the NY Daily News.

Erica, who became a vocal activist against police brutality after her father was killed in 2014 by a police officer who held him in a chokehold, has been in a coma since Saturday. Days before the Christmas holiday, Erica was rushed to Woodhull hospital after suffering a severe asthma attack that triggered a heart attack.
