A man accused of cutting off his pregnant wife’s arm is now in police custody.

Yong Lu, 35, allegedly attacked his wife in their Brooklyn apartment during a domestic dispute on Thursday. Lu is accused of cutting off two fingers from his wife’s left hand in addition to hacking off his wife’s right arm below her bicep with a steak knife. Their unborn child was unharmed in the horrific incident.

Lu’s wife, Li Yang, was transported to Bellevue Hospital where she remains in stable condition after surgeons were able to successfully reattach her arm.
