Qaasim Middleton is going to make you remember his name.
The American Idol hopeful rains from right here in Brooklyn, NY and has been stunning the judges every week with his flawless voice and surprise dance moves.
Last night on the FOX hit show, the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, opened up the night as Idol narrowed its group of a dozen male singers to the best eight. The 19-year-old, Quaasim challenged himself and took on a Steve Wonder classic, “I Wish” and added a few super cool dance moves. The judges reaction to the incredible performance pretty much sealed the deal for the young talent.
The performance left judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr struggling to describe just how much they loved it.
