Just when we thought we could finally let Frozen go, the songwriters of the animated film, continue their award streak. Brooklyn based couple Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez won a Grammy for  both “Best Compilation Soundtrack” and “Best Song Written for Visual Media”.
The couple who thought up “Let It Go” in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, wanted to create a “bad ass song” for Elsa, leading character of Frozen. Their countless awards that includes an Oscar, solidifies the two accomplished their goal.
While we were all concerned about Beyonce taking Ledisi’s limelight, residents in our own backyard were winning Grammys!
