All we needed was a Cher concert and a win for the Brooklyn Nets to say last week was pretty eventful in Brooklyn. On Friday, the ultimate legend Cher brought her D2K concert to Barclay’s Center Arena. Lets just say the 68 year old has still got IT! Her tour D2K which stands for “Dress To Kill” has lived up to its name. Cher turned it out with show stopping costumes and exceptional head-gear and hi-tech graphics to enhance her look. I mean she brought out all the stops to Brooklyn.
The highly anticipated concert started opened with the fab Cyndi Lauper just to get the party started. During Lauper’s performance, she brought out some of her favorite girls,  Liza Minnelli and Rosie O’Donnell!
Here are some pictures from all the amazingness
She is really 68? Wow!
As if that wasn’t enough, the Brooklyn Nets came back home and played their hearts out on Saturday. If what might have been Andrey Blatche’s greatest playoff moment, scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Lets not forget to mention the 15 three pointers that the Nets made, which was the highlight of the night. The star players, Pail Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Deron Williams all came out to play and bounced back from that awful two game start.
The Nets went on to bring the series 2-1 with a major win of 104-90. The Nets have a chance to tie up the series tonight, still with home court advantage. Let’s hope that we can keep up the momentum and play a good game. All of Brooklyn is yearning for this!
