Street Style At Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturday

Unless you’re living under a rock, you probably already know about Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturday. Celebrated on the first Saturday of every month you are guaranteed a great time! As a kid, you didn’t really see the hype behind going to a museum unless science or history was your thing. First Saturdays at the museum make being an adult extra worth it, it’s the perfect place to take your friends visiting you for the weekend. It’s your excuse to eat greedily from a food truck, as they have a few parked right outside the museum — ranging from loaded hotdogs to ice cream.

First Saturdays at the museum is your opportunity to drink wine and do artsy shit at least once a month. They also offer an opportunity to engage in different programs as well as view the art work displayed. This past Saturday was no different. The KAWS statue was a hit as everyone flocked around it to get their Instagram-worthy pose ready. Jungle Pussy, an artist from Brooklyn performed and had the whole museum rocking with her as they sang along word for word. First Saturday’s makes being at a museum worth your while.

With Summer attempting to finally make an appearance and peak it’s head out, the warm weather was amongst us. And that meant that the fashionistas and fashionistos were out and about. Check out some of the pics below:
