Spike Lee will always leave a permeant mark on Brooklyn starting with a street named after his hit movie, “Do The Right Thing”.

The movie that recently celebrated its 25th year anniversary and will officially commemorate the huge accomplishment by having Stuyvesant between Quincy and Lexington renamed. The street in Bedford Stuyvesant will be officially, Do The Right Thing Way in November.

Lee expressed his excitement and how you too can be apart of the historical moment via Instagram:
