What a joy to live in an era full of legendary people. Paul Robeson Jr., an author and activist was born on Nov. 2, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was the only child born to Paul and Eslanda Robeson. He worked hard to preserve the legacy of his father, the actor, singer, athlete and civil rights advocate, Paul Robeson. Since his father’s death, Paul wrote two books about his father and created an archive of his writing and films. He strived to teach this new generation about his fathers radical politics before passing away this past Saturday night, at the age of 86.
