One Africa Music Fest Is Headed To Barclays Center To Shine Light On The 'Bring Back Our Girls' Movement

On April 14th, over 270 school girls were kidnapped from the Chibok Government Secondary School by Boko Haram Terrorists in Nigeria. One Africa Music Fest, presented by Upfront & Personal, is set to hit the U.S. for the first time and help bring awareness for “Bring Back Our Girls,” a campaign dedicated to rescuing the 218 schoolgirls that remain missing.

The event will, that aims to celebrate African artists on a global level, providing them the platform and connecting them to their fans in the United States of America, will host live performances from Africa’s biggest musical stars such as BET Award winner Wizkid, who can currently be heard on Drake’s Billboard hit “One Dance.” International stars Davido, Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae artist Stonebwoy, East Africa’s Diamond Platnumz, Nigerian artists – Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, and Banky W will also grace the stage performing their hit singles.

The unforgettable night will be hosted by Africa’s R&B King Banky W.
