Not only does Williamsburg have a Wholefoods and an Apple store, the hip neighborhood also has New York City’s biggest cat.

Samson is not fat. The cat, who could possibly be the world’s biggest, is a naturally large cat with a crap load of fur, who’s four feet long. The 4-year-old purebred Maine coon weighs 28-pounds. Maine coons are the largest breed of felines and typically average 15 to 25 pounds.

“He is genuinely long, broad, heavy and strong. He’s big and well-proportioned. He’s a real big Maine coon,” his groomer, Carolyn Ayala tells the NY Post. “I have groomed many obese cats but [he’s] not the same . . . He is the Fabio of cats. He’s a gentle giant.”

Samson’s owner Jonathan Zurbel, a music producer, adopted the cat from his older brother — who purchased the cat from a breeder in southern New Jersey.

“He draws crowds of photographers,” Zurbel continues. “People’s reactions are often, ‘Holy s - - t! Is that a cat? That’s a lion! Is it a bobcat?’ ”

Samson is said to go through six cans of wet food a day, several bags of dry food every week, nearly four pounds of litter a week, and requires a $120 grooming every few months to look perrrrfect for the cameras. Samson has become quite the viral sensation as of late.

Take a look at some of the photo’s from Samson’s Instagram account below (yes the cat has his own account):
