They’re not throwing away their shot! The cast of the newest Broadway blockbuster, Hamilton, will perform live at the 58th annual Grammy Awards.
“We’re going to do the opening number, scream with joy, and then celebrate the fact that we were just on the Grammys. Best night ever,” Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton’s creator and star said.
Hamilton, which is up for Best Musical Theater Album will host a live audience from the Richard Rodgers Theatre, for the Monday night performance. This will mark the very first time a Broadway performance will broadcast live via satellite.
