February 2015, NBA All-Star weekend long festivities will be held in New York City, with Friday and Saturday’s events happening at a Barclays Center and the big game that Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

As tip-off to the season long community effort for NBA All-Star 2015 and NBA Cares,the league’s global social responsibility program, and four Brooklyn Nets players Marquis Teague, Sergey Karasev, Markel Brown and Cory Jefferson will participate in a Brooklyn Nets – Healthy Eating Cafeteria Makeover at P.S. 196 and M.S. 582 in Bushwhick on Monday.

The cafeteria makeover, which is part of NBA Cares Day of Service, will consist of a Nets themed healthy eating mural, cleaning and painting. All of the makeover supplies will be provided by Halmar International. In addition, the Nets are giving students Nets branded school supplies.

The makeovers are part of the Brooklyn Nets Assist program, which stands to support four key pillars: Education, Athletics, Health & Wellness, and Community Development.
