Artist, Pedro Reyes has created an interactive art exhibit that implements the terrifying realness of democracy, climate change, food politics and much more. The exhibit also displays Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton ghosts impersonations floating around.

A HAUNTED HAWKS’ NITE OUT: NITEHAWK PROSPECT PARK

It’s no secret that Nitehawk loves Halloween. This year, as Nitehawk inches closer to their winter 2018 opening, they are bringing Halloween to Nitehawk Prospect Park! This is the neighborhood’s first chance for a sneak peek since our Pour One Out for the Pavilion party one year ago. Start your Halloween evening with Nitehawk Cinema as we transform the entrance of the former Pavilion for one nite only into a haunted house and Fall Open House event with seasonal beer and giveaways provided by Brooklyn Brewery for parents, a reading with acclaimed Frank Einstein series author Jon Scieszka by partner Community Bookstore from 3-5 p.m., arts and crafts activities, free candy and a chance to win a prize from Nitehawk Cinema. Williamsburg’s Japanese steakhouse Salt + Charcoal will be celebrating all hallows eve with a free glass of hot sake for every guest and a free screening of cult-favorite Japanese horror films like Ringu (The Ring), Juon (The Grudge) and Dark Water. The screenings will take place in the restaurant’s cellar PDR so be sure to request a table downstairs when making reservations to guarantee your seat!

Ever wondered where to go to get THE MOST candy on Halloween – well here you go. Jeanne McCabe of Windsor Terrace says East Third Street between Vanderbilt and Greenwood turns into a Halloween block party each year with the street closed to traffic. Over 1,000 pieces of candy is distributed each year. Last year, her next door neighbor grilled hot dogs on his front lawn gave them to the trick-or-treaters. Who knows what’s on the menu this year.

Salem Experience in Ditmas Park

Ditmas Park seems to always take the cake for Halloween as what appears to be thousands of people from children to adults flood the dead end road for trick or treating.
