One of Brooklyn’s biggest exhibition to take place at the Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg is making a comeback, sort of.
Kara Walker’s A Subtlety, that included an 160,000 sugar sphinx was dismantled into smaller pieces. One of the major pieces of the dismantled sphinx, one of the hands, will be displayed an upcoming art show. Walker plans to show the the piece of history in November at the Sikkema Jenkins & Co. gallery in Chelsea, New York.
