Housing Lottery For $596/mo. Apartments In Williamsburg Are Now Open

You know we love a good housing lottery!

Applications are now open for affordable housing at 325 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. 104 newly constructed apartments will be made available at the old Domino Sugar Factory through a lottery running from today until January 20.

Singles making between $21,722 and $25,400 annually are eligible for the buildings cheapest spaces — 6 studios at $596/mo. Also available are eight 1-bedrooms at $640 a month, two 2-bedrooms at $775 a month, 34 studios at $754 a month, 41 1-bedrooms at $810 a month and 13 2-bedrooms at $979 a month.

The building’s amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, on-site resident manager, parking, bike storage and fitness/recreation facilities — though many of these will include additional fees.




Applicants who currently live in the New York City area and Brooklyn’s Community Board 1 will get preference for the available apartments.
