Sneak Peek At 4 Festive Costumes For Labor Day 2015
Caribbean Parade costumes for Labor Day 2015.

Labor Day weekend is here, which means two things, summer is about to make it’s grand exit and the biggest parade celebrating Caribbean culture in New York is about to take place. On Monday September 7th, Eastern Parkway will be flooded with beautifully hand crafted colorful costumes worn by people of all ethnicities whilst pelting their waist through the street for the 46th Annual Caribbean Day parade.

The downside to this epic event is that your normal mode of transport might either be delayed and your usual route may have to re-thought. Other than that, you will have the luxury of enjoying the sounds of reggae, calypso, and soca music, but even better you can get a taste of the Caribbean literally, as there will be street vendors selling deliciousness all throughout the strip of the parade.

Honestly, let’s face it, the best part of the entire Labor Day parade is seeing the sea of costumes. From the jewel head pieces to the makeup, to the one or two piece outfits. It is truly a sight to see, and when the festivities are all over the costume is yours to keep. Here is a sneak peek into this year’s costume line-up:
