The exclusive members-only Soho House is opening their first outpost in Brooklyn, according to the Gothamist.

The swanky adult-club will open at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Empire Stores this fall and will be fittingly called Dumbo House. The playhouse will occupy the top two floors of the re-purposed Empire Stores and will “include an outside terrace with views of the East River and the Statue of Liberty,” local blog Brooklyn Bridge Parents details.

Potential members must fill out a college-like application that requires a photo and recommendations from two currents members among other details, like information on where you work. Once accepted members must then pay a steep annual fee. Membership fees run from $1,050/year  for those under 27 and want to use only the New York clubs, to $3,200/year if your over 27 and want access to every Soho House across the world including their locations in London, Malibu, Barcelona, Miami, Berlin, Chicago, Istanbul, Toronto and Los Angeles.

Empire Stores’ currently houses high-end furniture shop West Elm, a satellite museum of the Brooklyn Historical Society, an outpost of one of the area’s more popular restaurants, Vinegar Hill House, a rooftop beer garden, and watchmaker Shinola.

This will be Soho House’s third private house in New York as they currently have one in the Meatpacking District and one on the Lower East Side.
