Kadeem Hardison, famous for his role as Dwayne Wayne in the classic TV show, “A Different World” has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund his latest project. “Where Brooklyn At?” is a documentary film project that explores the rich variety of contribution made by many to Brooklyn’s history and culture. Hardison who is also the Producer of the documentary, along with his younger brother One-Twenty, creator and Director, started the promising campaign to raise funds for production costs.

The project is made up of interviews and exclusive concert footage from some of the most poignant Brooklyn-born pioneers of the rap genre, including Big Daddy Kane, DJ Red Alert, MC Lyte, Pete Rock, Buckshot from Black Moon, Joell Ortiz, Maino, DJ Scratch, Easy Mo Bee, DJ Clark Kent, and Jimmy Spicer aka Super Rhymes and others. Hardison also hopes the kickstarter will help him to involve mainstream Brooklynites like Chris Rock, Spike Lee, Rosie Perez, Woody Allen, Barbara Streisand, Michael K. Williams, Jay Z, Mike Tyson, Eddie Murphy, Lou Ferrigno and Steve Buscemi. Fans would also be able to suggest interview candidates via Facebook or Twitter.
