'Drumline' Sequel Based On Brooklyn Girl's Time In College!

Yes, there’s a Drumline sequel on its way and yes Nick Cannon has something to do with it.

Twelve years later, a Drumline sequel is coming. Drumline: A New Beat has a pretty interesting storyline. The movie follows a Brooklyn girl, Danielle (played by Alexandra Shipp, same girl set to play Aaliyah) as she takes life on her own terms and disobeys her parents to attend Atlanta A&T and pursue her dream of becoming the first female section leader. Like any college story there will be romance, rivalries and lots of great band music.
