Uber is celebrating 5 years of their successful ride sharing program, despite many trying to halt its business.

The car service company sent a mass email to members stating “To our riders, thank you for letting us be your ride. To our driver-partners—thanks to you, New Yorkers have a safe, reliable way to connect with the people and places that matter most. To show our gratitude for this great city, tomorrow [Monday] we’re kicking off a 5-day celebration, bringing $5 uberPOOL flat rates and free pizza to each borough.”

Each day a pizza shop in each borough will also give away a free slice of pizza by just showing your app, courtesy of Uber. As Uber kicks off its celebration today in Staten Island, Joe and Pat’s on 1758 Victory Blvd will be the host of what the company calls the #UberPizzaParty. Each day Uber’s website will be updated on more information on “Pizza Party” locations, a special love letter, and of-course the fine print details.
