BUSHWICK — A Brooklyn mother was sent into a panic after she went to pick up her 6-year-old son from school and found both of his arms to be broken nearly two weeks ago.

Krystal Alejandro, the mother of the young boy, asked school officials to explain her son’s condition but no one could. Her son was in the care of the after-school program at P.S. 106 at the time, according to Pix 11.

The first grader was playing on the playground at the public school when something happened, but it’s unclear to what exactly happened. Neither the school or the after-school program has taken responsibility for the incident.

“It’s a horrible situation – me as a parent thinking that I can’t go to work because I don’t know if my son is safe,” Alejandro told the news. “It’s just a horrible feeling to see the pain that he went through.”

As of Wednesday the mother hasn’t received a full explanation as to what has happened. Alejandro’s attorney, Marcel Florestal plans to file a notice of claim against the city.
