Brooklyn's 21 Best Neighborhoods Doesn't Include Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy Or Crown Heights, New Report Says

Data collecting website, Niche.com has put together yet another ranking report — “Best Places To Live In America” for 2016.

Since we live in New York City — one of the more popular cities in America — Niche has a special “2016 Best Neighborhoods to Live in New York City” list. Because this is a Brooklyn-based website, I personally went through the list to ween out the top neighborhoods in the borough. The top neighborhoods to live in are based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities and ranking based on neighborhood data Niche used from the “U.S. Census, BLS, CDC, and other sources.”

According to the Top 100 neighborhoods in New York City list, the most talked about gentrified Brooklyn neighborhoods: Williamsburg (129), Crown Heights (182) and Bed-Stuy (166) are no where near the top.

Unsurprisingly Dumbo, though the it only has 3,798 residents, came in as the best Brooklyn neighborhood to live in — coming in at number four in the overall New York City list.
