Brooklyn Does Sports Bars Better Than Manhattan, Here’s Why
200 Fifth Bar in Park Slope.
This weekend might or might not bring rain to Brooklyn, but have no fear because sports bars in this borough have you covered. Who wants to hop on the train and struggle in the weather to Manhattan anyway? What more can you ask for than delicious beer and great food in the borough where love spreads? (It’s the Brooklyn way!)

I think Brooklyn sports bars are better than Manhattan sports bars because of many reasons including the fact that you can stumble home drunk after the games. You can grab some Roberta’s pizza, or Smorgasburg, or Junior’s and enjoy the food right after a game to celebrate a team win. Most of all, there are no humans wearing suits and ties nearby. YUCK.

I hope to deflate, I mean disclose, the 6 best bars in the borough to watch football. Some of these come from my fellow friends, born and raised, in Brooklyn and others come recommended by those who love the Manhattan crowd but will still make the trek to Brooklyn for Sunday Football!

Woodwork, Prospect Heights

583 Vanderbilt Ave

Why it’s so great: This barn x bar vibe is everything that is soccer and sex and reggae. They also have five flat-screen TVs. The Notorious M.A.C. with bacon or pulled pork belongs in your mouth the whole time you’re there as you chew your food and drool over the hotties.

200 Fifth Avenue, Park Slope

200 5th Ave

Why it’s so great: Park Slope includes everything great from the Barclays Center to bars and bars for pre-drinking. 200 Fifth Avenue should win “Sports Bar with the Most TVs.” You can text ‘200Food’ or ‘200Sports’ to 76626 for special deals and promotions which is my favorite part.

4th Down, Williamsburg

Many manufacturers tend to lure their customers with other dubious filler ingredients on view description now cialis properien their products promising them great benefits, which is actually vague so be careful.
Why it’s so great: I came here with my cousin for the Jets Season Opener and growing up in Williamsburg and not really being surrounded by sports bars in the 90’s, I was overly impressed by how packed and diverse and excited the crowd was. You can play Foosball to Hoop Fever games while you watch games. It’s also on top of a gym for those who need to squeeze in a workout before the games.

Brooklyn Tap House, Bed-Stuy

590 Myrtle Ave

Why it’s so great: Voted Best Sports Beer Garden by Village Voice 2014, worker Hector Martnez says, “I think what makes this bar great during football and any other time is the diverse crowd cheering for different teams, three large screen projectors indoor and outdoor, TV’s everywhere you look plus 44 Beer’s on tap with full bar and specials like a 32oz draft Bud light for only $5. Life is good here at the Brooklyn Tap House.”

Croxley’s Abbey, Williamsburg

63 Grand St

Why it’s so great: Croxley’s is a great example of why Brooklyn is better. Because their Manhattan location wasn’t good enough and they had to add a Brooklyn one. This place is fun and ALSO, $.20 boneless wings for the “brokelyn” people!

Union Grounds, Carroll Gardens

270 Smith Street

Why it’s so great: Carroll Gardens is kinda expensive to live in but have no fear because the value of the sports bar is enough to make everything feel worth it. The veggie dogs will make you bark for joy and they have the most interesting dipping sauces you’ll ever find.
