Although Kevin Garnett missed his 10th straight game due to back spasms, that didn’t stop the show! Mason Plumlee filled in for Kevin Garnett and did an amazing job. Plumlee ended the game with nine points. The Nets started off on fire and ended the first quarter with 26-21 lead.

After the half, what seemed to be an easy game, the Bobcats gave the Nets a hard time, managing to tie the game twice. Charlotte’s early foul trouble helped the Nets to continue to fight and re-gain the lead. Just moments after the Bobcats tied it up, they committed their fifth team foul, giving the Nets much needed access to the free-throw line at the last eight minutes of the game.

Although Paul Pierce was a bit quiet, it was his huge three pointer, with two minutes left in the game that propelled the Nets to lead by five. They sealed the deal with their free throws down the stretch, and sealed the win!
