Yesterday afternoon, in an attempt to connect more with their fans and pump Brooklyn up for the upcoming basketball season, the Brooklyn Nets took over Downtown Brooklyn and boy was it epic.

Man of the Nets star players were strategically located in some of Brooklyn’s favorite spots to welcome fans. Nets power forward Mason Plumlee headed to Junior’s, power forward at Starbucks, point guard Jarret Jack at Applebees, power forward Mirza Teletovic at Modells and small forward Andrei Kirilenko at Metro PCS.

The players handed out gift bags, game tickets and lots of smiles and photos to their adorning fans.
