Not that you every noticed, but the clock on top of Brooklyn Borough Hall has been stuck at 2:41 for around six months. The landmark building’s clock has been out of commission since November of last year due to broken down gears. Well it’s about time. The famous Brooklyn clock is going tic-tock again and it seems that some neighbors are quite excited about it.

According to the NYDN, a media professor from St. Francis College was excited about it working again.

It’s great to see Brooklyn’s clock working again.

The cost for repairs? To fix the internal brain of the clock, a whopping $8,000 dollars. No wonder it took a bit of time.

No one has any excuse to be late for work, no one in that area at least.
