Real Hip-Hop is returning to Brooklyn, at least for afternoon.

Legendary rappers, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick are set to headline Bed-Stuy Alive’s free concert, “Revolution Rocks”, at Restoration Plaza. The week long Bed-Stuy fest, which draws about 3,000 people each year, showcases the neighborhoods art galleries, architecture and phenomenal culture.

Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick will take the stage that many musically talented Brooklynites have graced including Mos Def and Big Daddy Kane. Although Fresh and Slick Rick are not from Brooklyn, they are major fan favorites of the community.
