Who are these two dope queens?

Jessica Williams is an actress and comedian. In January of 2012 she made her debut on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” becoming the youngest correspondent. Since then, the LA born, Brooklyn-based star has made numerous appearances on Season 3 of HBO’s “Girls,” and starred in Netflix comedy “The Incredible Jessica James”. Williams is also set to co-write and star in a new Showtime series in the near future.

Triple threat, Phoebe Robinson is an actress, comedian and writer. She has been named one of the top comedians by Vulture, Essence, and Esquire Magazine. She has appeared on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” “Conan,” “Broad City” and recently snagged a role for Amazon’s “I Love Dick.” Her writing has been featured in The Village Voice, NY Magazine, Glamour.com, VanityFair.com, TheDailyBeast.com, and she also executed her role as a staff writer for MTV’s hit show “Girl Code.”

The show isn’t only for these two ladies, it’s a movement that give people of all backgrounds and walks of like a platform to express themselves.

“For our show, people get to be the stars of their own stories and they get to be the stars of their own stand-up,” said Williams. “It’s really cool to give our friends, people of color and different orientations an opportunity to speak for themselves, and to be sort of the main character as opposed to being a side character.”
